Siapa sih yang tidak suka dengan Korea sekarang ini? Bahkan America’s Next Top Model 21 aja sampai ke Korea. Yup… Korea memang lagi booming. Kalau di Indonesia diawali dengan dramanya. Kakak saya termasuk salah satunya. Sejak Endless Love, yang akhirnya saya ikut tonton dan suka juga, hingga sekarang. Bahkan saya sempat ikutan suka dan jatuh cinta dengan Princess Hours (yang pertama ya).
Dan karena drama-drama Korea yang bertebaran di TV lokal itu juga, kita jadi mengenal budaya Korea dan juga makanan Korea. Berapa banyak coba yang tidak “ngidam” mencoba makanan Korea? Tapi bagaimana caranya mencoba masakan Korea yang benar-benar Korea gitu? Susah kan mencarinya.
Eh tapi… ada kabar gembira sekarang. Berawal dari info Mba Tinsyam soal Korean Guide Application khusus untuk Indonesia. Ternyata, Korean Food Foundation (KFF) membuat aplikasi yang memudahkan kita untuk mencari restoran Korea di sekitar kita. Sebagai pengguna iOS, saya pun segera meluncur ke iStore dan mendonlot aplikasi ini. Ternyata mudah, tidak membutuhkan memori besar dan aplikasinya itu pun sangat membantu.
Salah satu syarat aplikasi yang baik bagi saya tentunya adalah jika aplikasi itu membantu saya dalam hal-hal tertentu. Dan aplikasi ini memenuhi syarat itu. Saya bisa dengan mudah mendapatkan puluhan restoran Korea di sekitaran Jakarta. Tinggal buka aplikasinya dan langsung kita pilih Indonesia, muncullah daftar restoran di sekitar kita dengan petanya.
Di halaman awal ini, kita bisa melihat dalam bentuk grid yang menampilkan foto restoran
Korea beserta nama restoran itu diurutkan berdasarkan nama. Kalau ingin menampilkan list saja, tinggal klik tombol di kanan atas. Terus kalau mau lihat detail mengenai restoran yang ada, tinggal pencet restoran yang dimaksud.
Kita akan diberikan informasi mengenai restoran tersebut. Dimulai dengan rekomendasi dari seleb lokal dan kemudian diikuti dengan kisaran harga makanan di restoran itu, alamat, nomor telepon, kapasitas restoran dan juga jam bukanya. Detail kan? Ini yang saya suka, karena sangat informatif. Semua informasi yang dibutuhkan ada, jadi tidak perlu google lagi. Coba deh lihat foto, seperti itu tampilannya.
Nah yang menarik lagi, kalau misalnya kita ingin tahu lebih dalam mengenai makanan tertentu, kita bisa klik Menu dan tampillah deretan menu makanan. Terus kita klik makanan yang kita mau, kita akan diberikan informasi terkait makanan itu. Informasi ini ditulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu (aplikasi ini untuk Indonesia dan Malaysia), Bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Korea. Jadi kita tidak pusing lagi mencari tahu makanan apa saja yang mau kita pesan, siapa tahu ada yang alergi dengan makanan tertentu.
