Sampai-sampai ngerjain apapun lupa waktu. Pokoknya itu yang saya alami pas lagi ngeblog. Saya jatuh cinta pada blogging.
Kecele dah yang berharap saya menuliskan kisah cinta personal di sini. Maafkan ya. 😛
Kayaknya saya sudah pernah menulis soal kecintaan saya sama dunia blogging ini sih sebelumnya. Cuma pengen nulis lagi aja.

Jatuh Cinta Pada Blogging – Passion kah?
Ada yang pernah mendengar kutipan di atas? Katanya kalau kita mencintai yang kita kerjakan sehari-hari, kita gak akan pernah berasa kalau lagi kerja. Beberapa kali mendengar ini kalau lagi bicara soal passion. Apakah memang artinya lagi jatuh cinta itu mirip dengan menemukan passion kita?
Kenapa sih bisa jatuh cinta?
Bukan hanya dalam satu bidang tertentu ya, tapi dalam kehidupan umum aja. Kenapa seseorang bisa jatuh cinta? Kenapa A bisa jatuh cinta dengan mudah sedangkan B susah banget? Setiap orang rasanya memiliki pengalaman beda-beda kan?
Saya sendiri bahkan sering menyenandungkan “I want to know what love is” iyes… lagu jadoel banget – setua itulah saya. 😀
Karena bagi saya sendiri memang gak mudah banget jatuh cinta dan benar-benar jatuh cinta. Tapi, entah kenapa dengan dunia blogging ini kok bisa kejadian. Apa karena saya melakukannya dengan rutin sampai saya jatuh cinta dengan blogging?
Saya coba runut-runut sendiri (dengan logika – walau katanya cinta tak punya logika), kenapa bisa seperti ini, terus hasilnya?

Tapi yang pasti… ngeblog itu:
1. Gak Pernah Bikin Saya Bosan
Yes, ngeblog itu gak pernah bikin saya bosan. Mungkin sesekali gak pegang blog, tapi tetep sih, saya akan balik lagi ngeblog. Mungkin kayak orang kasmaran ya, gak pernah bosan dengan pasangannya itu. Saya merasakan ini. Saat saya sendiri lagi gak ngeblog, saya sebenarnya lagi belajar lagi.
Belajar soal blogging di beberapa webinar ataupun acara. Yang mana semuanya bikin saya makin jatuh cinta pada blogging. Over and over again.
2. Banyak yang Baru dan Unik
Dunia blogging itu gak bikin bosan karena selalu ada yang baru dan unik dari waktu ke waktu. Hal-hal baru yang memang sudah diakui bersama oleh semua pakar, seperti Neil Patel atau Jeff Bullas – yang merupakan panutan blogging saya dari luar sana.
Ataupun yang unik – seperti istilah pengkotakan blogger Indonesia yang kadang bikin saya pusing. Kenapa sampai ada begitu banyak istilah blogger di Indonesia ini. Yang blogger remahanlah, blogger ketcup basah (pertama kali baca ini kirain saos loh – ketchup), blogger event, blogger cheerleader dan lainnya lah itu.
Keunikan dunia blogging Indonesia ini sering jadi bahasan saya bersama beberapa blogger lainnya. Lucu dan menghibur sih kalau menurut saya. Makanya saya makin jatuh cinta pada blogging ini. Menikmati aja semuanya saya sih.

3. Selalu Berkembang
Yang baru, berkembang dari waktu ke waktu. Seperti itulah dunia blogging ini, terutama di Indonesia ya, yang mana booming dunia blogging ini sendiri masih dibilang baru. Di luar sana, sejak 2000-an sudah banyak blog dan kemudian berkembang jadi monetizing blog yang beraneka ragam.
Di Indonesia? Saya ingat jaman-jaman di mana Raditya Dika mengenalkan blog dan bisa jadi buku kala itu. Menurut saya, itulah jaman di mana Booming dunia blogging di Indonesia muncul.
Perkembangan dunia blogging ini yang bikin saya makin menikmati dan akhirnya jatuh cinta pada blogging. Karena kok kayaknya gak pernah ada habisnya. Seperti cinta, selalu berkembang dari waktu ke waktu – bersama-sama. Sepertinya blogging ini pun mengajak saya untuk berkembang bersama.
2 tahun lalu, April 2014, pertama kali saya “berkembang” dari wp.com ke domain pribadi ini. Dan kemudian diikuti dengan perkembangan lainnya. Traffic blog dari 50-100 per hari hingga sekarang bisa lebih dari 2.000 per hari. Perkembangan seperti ini membuat saya makin ingin mendalami dunai blogging.
Cinta yang baik itu cinta yang mengajak pihak-pihak yang ada untuk berkembang bukan?
Akankah Cinta ini Berakhir
Well, mungkin aja. Akan ada satu masa di mana saya mungkin gak lagi jatuh cinta pada blogging ini dan akhirnya melupakan dia. Berusaha move on dari dia. Tapi untuk saat ini, saya sih masih belum merasakan itu. Kalau kamu sendiri, apa yang membuat kamu jatuh cinta (pada blogging)?

I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
